About the event
When: Sunday October 03, 2021 8a-12p Pāhonu
Where: Kaiona Beach Park, parking along the fence line on Kalanianaʻole Highway fronting the park. Kaiona Beach Park
What: Restoring Pāhonu walls. I intend to have the group do some rock moving for a little while, but the majority of the time is going to be spent weaving.
Supplies- We will have all supplies necessary for the rock work. If participants would like to bring snorkel gear, they can do so as we do work underwater as well and want to avoid sharing that type of gear. Please bring hydration, sun protection (reef safe sun screen please), closed foot wear tabis or shoes but closed, and long sleeve shirts is best to avoid scratches. We will start with piko as we normally do, as well as oli (Nā Aumakua) and a few others that we do with groups.
