About the event
Where: Kaiona Beach Park. Park along the fence line on Kalanianaʻole Highway fronting the park. Kaiona Beach Park
What: Restoring Pāhonu walls. Intent is to have the group do some rock moving for a little while, but the majority of the time is going to be spent weaving.
Supplies: We will have all the supplies necessary for the rock work. If you'd like to bring snorkel gear, you can, as we do work underwater as well and want to avoid sharing that type of gear. Please bring hydration, a snack, sun protection (reef-safe sunscreen, please), closed-toe footwear/tabis, and long-sleeve shirts are best to avoid scratches. You may also bring your own gloves, though we do supply them. We will start with piko as we normally do, as well as oli (Nā Aumakua) and a few others that we do with groups.
