About the event
Botanist Miles Thomas will be leading the hike. We will only do a portion of the trail, then turn around and return to the parking lot by 1 p.m.
8 a.m. Meet in the Waʻahila Ridge State Recreation Area parking lot.
1600 Ruth Pl, Honolulu, HI 96816
What to bring:
– SHOES ARE REQUIRED.
– Clothing that can get dirty (long-sleeve shirt and pants are highly recommended!!).
– Hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
– Reusable water bottle(s) and plenty of water (1/2 gallon recommended).
– Bug spray.
– Snacks and any medications needed.
– Rain jacket (in case of inclement weather).
