We will meet at the Mānoa Cliff Trailhead: https://goo.gl/maps/sriVbS5WsMpGzDH37

The coordinates are: 21°19'33.2"N 157°48'47.4"W

Please be advised: Cell signal is spotty. The trailhead can be found on Google Maps by searching "Manoa Cliff Trailhead." If you copy and paste the coordinates, you should be able to locate us. We will be on the roadside looking for you until 8 a.m.

We will start the hike promptly at 8 a.m., so please arrive early to find parking.

Botanist Miles Thomas will lead a hike through the cliff trail and up to the Mānoa Cliff Restoration Project, a special site with many rare species as they work closely with the state.

Rain showers and mud can occur, so be prepared for those conditions.

What to bring:

– SHOES ARE REQUIRED.

– Clothing that can get dirty (long-sleeve shirt and pants are highly recommended!!).

– Hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.

– Reusable water bottle(s) and plenty of water (1/2 gallon recommended).

– Bug spray.

– Snacks and any medications needed.

– Rain jacket (in case of inclement weather).

– Microspikes or crampons (just in case).
