About the event
This is not the usual Kuli'ou'ou hike but one up the side of the West ridge and connects to the East.
Our hike will end at 11:00 am distancing around 1/2 of this loop and you will be guided back down to the parking area by 12:30 pm
If you decide to continue at your own risk up to the Pu'u O Kona summit and cross to the East ridge please do your own due dillagence.
Protect & Preserve Hawai'i will not be liable in any way if you decide to leave our guided hike to continue on your own.
Directions:
Turn on Kuliouou Rd. then right on Kalaau Place.
We will meet at Kuliouou Trail head state sign and leave at 7:00 am sharp.
Please arrive early to find parking and out group.

What to bring:
- FACE COVERING - required in entrance and communal spaces
– SHOES ARE REQUIRED. – Clothing that can get dirty (long sleeve shirt and pants highly recommended!!) – Hat, sunglasses and sunscreen – Reusable water bottle(s) and plenty of water (1/2 gallon recommended) – Snacks and any medications needed
– Rain jacket (in case of inclement weather)
- Long Pants Recommended
- Spikes just in case
