Hike with Botanist, Miles Thomas of Bishop Museum and the State's rare plant program through the Hawaiian section and others in the Botanical Garden. Learn about the cultural and ecological roles of these unique species. Some found nowhere else in the world! Beginners, keiki, and kūpuna welcome!

If the parking lot is full, there is ample street parking near the homes.

Botanist Miles Thomas will lead the "hike" through the botanical garden and teach participants about the ecological and cultural importance of the native species we come across. 

The botanical garden is mostly flat, with some small rocks and uneven terrain.

What to bring:

– SHOES ARE REQUIRED.
