Hike & Seed @ Pia Valley (INTERMEDIATE LEVEL HIKE)

Explore the Valley we are trying to save! Switching gears, plants are starting to flower & seed. Come join us on a guided hike through the valley floor up to Kulepeamoa Ridge. Hike will end 3/4 of the way to the Ko'olau summit.

About the event
We will meet in the cul de sac at the top of Anaolani St. 7:30am then walk together to site.
Parking: We are asking if possible to park at the shopping center and carpool to Anolani street to minimize traffic and crowding. Please be respectful to our neighbors and keep our voices down and not to block the turn around in the cul de sac, their trash bins or mailboxes.
What to bring:
- FACE COVERING - required in entrance and communal spaces
– SHOES ARE REQUIRED. – Clothing that can get dirty (long sleeve shirt and pants highly recommended!!) – Hat, sunglasses and sunscreen – Reusable water bottle(s) and plenty of water (1/2 gallon recommended) – Snacks and any medications needed
– Rain jacket (in case of inclement weather)
Please Note: There are no bathrooms at the site. Participants will need to trek in the bushes or drive to the nearest bathroom at Kawaikui Beach Park.

If Koko Head is too difficult for you or you dont know what is Koko Head is please do some research or wait for an easier hike.
A part of the hike has a steep incline up the ridge.
We will be collecting and surveying seed for our seed bank.
