Join us in Pia Valley for a special guest talk by Nate Kingsley, followed by weeding and native outplanting. Nate manages the Lyon Arboretum Seed Conservation Lab, one of the largest collections of native Hawaiian seeds preserved for state-wide conservation and restoration efforts.

About the event
Nate Kingsley manages the Lyon Arboretum Seed Conservation Lab, which maintains one of the largest collections of native Hawaiian seeds preserved for state-wide conservation and restoration efforts. The primary goals of their research are to determine seed storage behavior and longevity, and to identify methods for alleviating dormancy in native Hawaiian plants.
