What to expect: We will work to restore a Mililani Mauka burn site in the Oʻahu Forest National Wildlife Refuge. We will be hiking sections of the ridge line and across some steep slopes to reach the restoration site. Conditions can be very hot and sunny, but may also be windy and rainy.
Expected plan for the day:
7:30am - meet at Mililani Park and Ride, consolidate into 3-4 vehicles, drive to Lychee Farm
8:00am - arrive at Lychee Farm, drive to trailhead (bathroom), do introductions, safety briefing, pack up tools, plants, and water
8:30am - hike into work site
