About the event
Meeting location: Moanalua Neighborhood Park
Meeting time: 9:00 a.m.
Restrooms: Available at the park along with water fountains
What to expect:
Work day is from 9am -12pm. Consists of weeding around plants (hand pulling/ picks), planting plants, watering plants if needed. We will meet at the Moanalua Valley Neighborhood Park at the end of Ala Aolani St. The site is a 5 min walk down the trail from the park.
Difficulty: Easy/All Ages
Tools: All weeding tools and will be provided
What to bring:
-Mesquito Repellent
– SHOES ARE REQUIRED WITH GOOD TRACTION.
– Clothing that can get dirty (long sleeve shirt and pants highly recommended!!)
– Hat, sunglasses and sunscreen
– Reusable water bottle(s) and plenty of water (3 liters recommended)
– Snacks and any medications needed
– Rain jacket (in case of inclement weather)
