Wai‘anae Mountains Watershed Partnership (WMWP) aims to bring people together to responsibly manage watershed areas, native species and their habitats, and more within the ahupua‘a. This is a rare opportunity to get deep into the valley and see the site they're restoring from the ground up.

About the event
** UPDATE: We will be going with the alternate plan (see below). Our work will still be in Makaha Valley, but at a different site within the valley where we will work on vegetative fuel breaks. The carpooling time/location, the required BWS waiver, and timeframe all remain the same.
Due to extremely limited parking at the site, carpooling for this event is required!
Meeting Time: 7:30 AM
Meeting Location: 711 Kamokila Blvd, Kapolei, HI 96707. Park on the street outside Kalapawai
(DO NOT PARK IN LOT, YOU WILL GET TOWED)
Please plan to arrive at the carpool spot on time (before 7:30 AM) and stay for the entire day. As soon as we fill the carpool vehicles, we must meet WMWP at the Makaha Towers Kili Dr. BWS gate to be escorted onward. We'll be escorted through several gates, and unfortunately, we won't be able to accommodate those who arrive late/want to leave…
