Carpool meetup: Street Parking Only

Wai‘anae Mountains Watershed Partnership (WMWP) aims to bring people together to responsibly manage watershed areas, native species and their habitats, and more within the ahupua‘a. This is a rare opportunity to get deep into the valley and see the site they're restoring from the ground up.

About the event

Due to extremely limited parking at the site, carpooling for this event is required!

Meeting Time: 7:30 AM

Meeting Location: 711 Kamokila Blvd, Kapolei, HI 96707. Park on the street outside Kalapawai

(DO NOT PARK IN LOT, YOU WILL GET TOWED)

Please plan to arrive at the carpool spot on time (before 7:30 AM) and stay for the entire day. As soon as we fill the carpool vehicles, we must meet WMWP at Mauna Olu Estates to be escorted onward. We'll be escorted through several gates, and unfortunately, we won't be able to accommodate those who arrive late/want to leave early.

Restrooms: Carpool meeting area, at Kalapawai. None on site. Please plan to use the bathroom at home or at a facility along the way. If you need to go in the forest, be prepared to pack out any waste and rubbish.
